New Year 2020 Prayer & Fasting Day 6

The Lord promises that when we pray and humble ourselves before Him, then He is sure to hear us and heal our land. For healing of our nation to take place, it is our duty to pray for our nation and our government irrespective of political leanings. That way we are guaranteed, peace and prosperity.  God is always ready to hear and bless for He desires to give us good things as a good father to a child; if we pray.

I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.

For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;

Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth

 (1 Timothy 2:1-4)

May the hearts of the nation and government be turned to the Lord, for righteousness exalts the nation and sin is a reproach. Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord. May righteousness spring forth from the government and to every home upon the land.

Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people. (Proverbs 14:34)
