Women of Influence

Yesterday evening the Lord spoke to us about being a throne room prophetic vessel. The choice belongs to us to be either a woman of influence or not? According to the dictionary influence is the capacity to have an effect on the character, development, or behaviour of someone or something. In other words influence is having the power to impact someone’s life, their behaviour. Someone said Influence is when you are not the one talking and yet your words fill the room; when you are absent and yet your presence is felt everywhere (wow). We are constantly being influenced by the media and by those around us both in the natural and the spiritual realm. Influence can change what we wear, listen to and can even change how we vote. Influence can change the course of a nation.

When we read the bible every woman that is mentioned had influence. Women like Esther, Deborah, Ruth brought amazing life changing victories to the people of God and have marked history. Many of us women are wives, mothers, grandmothers, working mothers, career women, single women. Titles do not define who and what we are. Sadly we are part of a world, a system which is set to restrict our success. The devil’s task is to restrict your success and minimise your impact. I want to encourage you that there is a greater reality which we need to tap into. I’m talking the kind of power that is greater than the statistics, that can bring resurrection life, deliverance, overcomes the plans of the devil and it is God’s manifested presence and his power. You are a daughter of the King, blessed, highly favoured and more than a conqueror. You are chosen, not forsaken. You are free. He is for you, not against you. You are who he says you are. My prayer for each one of us is that 2021 be the year where we choose to reposition our thinking and align ourselves with God's purposes, the year when we start to embrace our "bridal" identity. You are called for such a time as this!!
